Money and paying in Seychelles
You pay in Seychellois rupees. Cards work reliably in hotels, restaurants and larger shops; for buses, markets and small shops you need cash.

Cash machines exist on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, and not on the smaller islands. Euros and dollars are accepted in places, but at a rate that costs you money — withdraw rupees instead. Do not change large amounts at once: whatever is left over is hard to get rid of outside Seychelles.

Three islands in seven nights?
It is the most common mistake in Seychelles. Every island change costs half a day, and the transfer days land in the middle of the trip. One conversation beforehand prevents it.
