La Digue
Grand Anse
Grand Anse on the southeast side of La Digue is wide, empty and dangerous in the southeast trade wind. From May to September there is heavy surf with a rip, and there are no lifeguards.

From December to March the wind turns, and then Grand Anse is one of the finest beaches in Seychelles — wide, bright, almost deserted. In the other half of the year the rule is: ride out, look, do not go in. A footpath leads on from here to Petite Anse and Anse Cocos in about twenty minutes.

Three islands in seven nights?
It is the most common mistake in Seychelles. Every island change costs half a day, and the transfer days land in the middle of the trip. One conversation beforehand prevents it.
