La Digue
Anse Source d'Argent
Anse Source d'Argent is the most photographed subject in the Indian Ocean: granite boulders in shallow turquoise water. A reef offshore protects it, so it is nearly always calm — but it depends entirely on the tide.

At low water you stand ankle-deep in places and can barely swim; at high water several of the finest stretches are no longer walkable. Ask about the tide in the morning and plan the visit around it — that is the difference between the photograph and the disappointment. Access runs through L'Union Estate and costs an entry fee; day visitors from Praslin usually arrive at the wrong hour.

Three islands in seven nights?
It is the most common mistake in Seychelles. Every island change costs half a day, and the transfer days land in the middle of the trip. One conversation beforehand prevents it.
