La Digue
Anse Cocos
Anse Cocos can only be reached on foot, and that alone keeps it empty. At the northern end there is a natural pool between rocks where you can swim even when the open bay is too rough.

- on foot only, about 30 min from Grand Anse
The path starts at the end of Grand Anse and runs over roots and rock; proper shoes make more sense than flip-flops. Take water, there is nothing on the way. Plan the return before dark — tropical night falls fast and the path is unlit.
