Praslin
Côte d'Or
Côte d'Or on Praslin's northeast coast is not a single beach but a long bay with shallow, calm water. Most of the island's hotels stand here, and this is where swimming is least complicated.

Because the bay faces east it can collect seaweed in the southeast trade wind; the hotels clear their own stretches, between them it stays. From December to March the water is clearer. For families Côte d'Or is still the most practical address on Praslin, because you can walk to dinner.

Three islands in seven nights?
It is the most common mistake in Seychelles. Every island change costs half a day, and the transfer days land in the middle of the trip. One conversation beforehand prevents it.
