Anse Georgette is the emptiest of the famous beaches, and the reason is mundane: the land route runs through a resort's grounds, and the resort counts arrivals. The beach itself is public.

Register with the resort the day before; without it the gate can become awkward. The alternative is to arrive by boat. The bay is smaller than Anse Lazio and lies in the same wind position, so it is calm from May to September. There is nothing there — no restaurant, no shade but the trees, no water.
