Mahé
Anse Intendance
Anse Intendance in the south of Mahé is the main island's most spectacular beach and its most dangerous. It lies open to the southeast, and in the trade wind from May to September there is heavy surf with undertow.

There is no lifeguard and no reef to break the waves. From December to March the water is usually calm and the beach is among the finest anywhere; in the trade wind it is for looking at, not for swimming. The access road is steep and hard to manage without a car.

Three islands in seven nights?
It is the most common mistake in Seychelles. Every island change costs half a day, and the transfer days land in the middle of the trip. One conversation beforehand prevents it.
