Trip planning
How many islands should you combine?
Two islands for seven nights, three for ten to fourteen. More is not a richer trip but one with more luggage days — every island change costs half a day, and it lands right in the middle of the holiday.

- half a day per change
Half a day is not an exaggeration: check out, transfer to the port or airport, wait, cross, arrive, check in — and the room is rarely ready before the afternoon. Squeeze three islands into a week and you lose one and a half of seven days and start over twice. Two islands across seven nights means, in practice: four nights on one, three on the other, with the change in the morning.
Before you book
Three islands in seven nights?
It is the most common mistake in Seychelles. Every island change costs half a day, and the transfer days land in the middle of the trip. One conversation beforehand prevents it.
