North Island
North Island is reached only by helicopter or boat from Mahe, and only guests of its single resort ever go there. It carries eleven guest villas, roughly 170 Aldabra giant tortoises, and the highest density of nesting green turtles among the granitic islands.

North Island was a plantation from 1826 to 1976, growing vanilla, spices, fruit and copra under the Beaufond family; the copra trade collapsed in the 1970s and the estate was abandoned. Wilderness Holdings bought the island in 1997 and spent the following years clearing invasive species and restoring native forest before eleven villas opened as a resort in 2003. A 2005 rat eradication left the island free of rats, and reintroduced Aldabra giant tortoises now number around 170.

Three islands in seven nights?
It is the most common mistake in Seychelles. Every island change costs half a day, and the transfer days land in the middle of the trip. One conversation beforehand prevents it.
