Medical care in Seychelles
The only hospital that handles serious cases is Seychelles Hospital in Victoria on Mahé. Praslin and La Digue have smaller facilities for everyday matters; anything larger is transferred to Mahé or abroad.

- with repatriation — required on entry
This is why the travel insurance required on entry is not a formality: it has to cover repatriation, because repatriation is what a serious case actually needs, and out of the Indian Ocean it costs many times a normal course of treatment. Before departure, check that your policy really includes repatriation and not just outpatient care. Pharmacies exist on Mahé and Praslin; bring prescription medicines in sufficient quantity and with the leaflet.
