Anse à la Mouche
Anse à la Mouche is a long, curved bay on Mahé's southwest coast that runs for about 1.5km directly beside the main coast road between Anse Boileau and Anse Soleil. It is sheltered by the shape of the bay itself, so the water stays flat and shallow even at high tide.

- Safety
- Being sheltered, the sea here usually stays calm — that is not a substitute for checking conditions yourself on site.
- Access
- Directly on the coast road, easy access
The beach sits right on the road, so it's an easy stop by car or bus, with shops and restaurants close by. The water is calm with no strong currents, which makes it a safe choice for unconfident swimmers and small children all year. How much beach you get depends on the tide: it narrows at high water and can open up to more than 100m of sand at low tide. Past erosion here was repaired through local restoration work and the site is now a recreational park — popular enough that it's rarely empty, but long enough that it never feels crowded.

Three islands in seven nights?
It is the most common mistake in Seychelles. Every island change costs half a day, and the transfer days land in the middle of the trip. One conversation beforehand prevents it.
