Eden Island
Cars reach Eden Island over a short bridge from Victoria; unlike the outer islands of Seychelles, there is no boat crossing or flight involved. The island covers about 0.57 square kilometres of reclaimed land off Mahe's east coast, with close to 600 apartments and villas and a population of around 1,000.

- Population
- About 1,000 residents (2014 figure)

The Eden Island Development Company built the island together with the Seychelles government, reclaiming land from a coral reef that had died in the 1998 El Nino bleaching event, and it was the first development in the country where foreign buyers could hold freehold title to property. Today it has a marina, the Eden Plaza retail and commercial precinct, and the Eden Bleu Hotel.

Three islands in seven nights?
It is the most common mistake in Seychelles. Every island change costs half a day, and the transfer days land in the middle of the trip. One conversation beforehand prevents it.
